Teaching Cases

This section of the website can be used by instructors conducting a post-training assessment or by individual providers to evaluate their learning after reading the information on this site's main page. The first section aims to facilitate assessment of the following instructional learning objectives:

• You will be able to state, in your own words, what human trafficking is.
  
• You will be able to recall, without prompting or aid, at least five signs and/or symptoms of human trafficking in an E.D. patient.
  
• You will be able to state what to do when you suspect or know a patient is a victim of human trafficking.
  
• You will be able to state what not to do in the event that you suspect or know a patient is a victim of human trafficking.

The second section includes 3 interactive cases to help providers figure out how to practically apply their new knowledge.
